인터림 비자라고 하는 것은 비자의 기간이 다 끝나가는 싯점에 새로운 비자를 신청시 중간에 생길수 있는 불법체류를 미연에 방지하기 위해 새로이 도입된 제도 입니다.
전에는 비자가 만료가 되면 무조건 불법체류라는 불명예스러운 꼬리표가 붙어 다녔지만, 지금은 인터림 비자란 제도로 최소한 이러한 문제는 없어졌습니다.
단, 비자 신청시 중요한 부분은 같은 종류의 비자를 신청시 같은 형태의 인터림 비자가 주어지지만, 다른 종류의 비자로 신청시 각각 받을 수 있는 인터림 비자가 달라집니다. 이점 반드시 유의 하셔야 합니다.
